Teen Individual Outpatient Treatment
Get back in the game of life now!
Outpatient treatment at our Lake Forest location (Orange County California) and remote via Telehealth offers a flexible, effective solution tailored to a family’s needs. This approach allows a client to receive professional therapeutic support while maintaining a daily routine of school and other responsibilities. Our individual outpatient program provides access to therapists using evidence-based methods to help reduce a dependency on screens and navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, and more.
Working with teens almost always includes involving the parents as “co-therapists” in the treatment process. Parents play an important role in establishing and maintaining the appropriate home environment to facilitate their child’s emotional development. Often teens deny the impact of their dependency on their excess screen time. Education on the science of screen addiction and dependency is the first step towards helping teens accept a lifestyle less dependent on videogames and social media.
With flexible scheduling options such as late afternoons, evenings and weekends, clients can choose appointments that fit their lifestyle, ensuring that care is accessible without interrupting daily life. Outpatient treatment encourages open communication and ongoing support, fostering a collaborative relationship with the therapist that promotes lasting change. The process begins with a 2 hour meeting with the teen and their parents where the therapist can assess, educate and recommend a plan for ongoing treatment. Alternatively, treatment can be initiated with participation in the 3 Day Intensive.
